Attorney Hazlewood is a personal injury attorney based in our tidewater office in Norfolk, Virginia. Born in St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the Caribbean, Kellisia migrated to the United States when she was six years old. She has lived in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Virginia to join the Pendleton Law Team.
Before making her way to our firm, Kellisia earned a double major and received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science Pre-Law and Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. She went on to Regent University School of Divinity and earned her Masters in Theology before earning her Juris Doctor and LLM in International Law from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Attorney Hazlewood’s studies led her to work for a private firm litigating real estate law in New York. She then served with New York City’s Administration for Children’s Services where she prosecuted child abuse and child neglect cases.
As part of our personal injury team, Attorney Hazlewood helps our clients navigate the legal process and fights to get the compensation our injured clients deserve.
"I love helping people gain access to the law so they can resolve their issues through legal means. I am very passionate about fighting for my clients and being there for them when otherwise they may not have the power to get compensation or justice on their own."
When she isn’t making a positive difference in the lives of her clients, Attorney Hazlewood enjoys spending time with her sister’s pit bull, Max. Second to Max, she makes herself available to spend quality time with her human family including her nieces and nephews. Kellisia is also a talented singer and directs the praise team at her church. To rejuvenate her spirit and take care of herself, she enjoys working out and traveling. As of this year, she’s traveled to over twenty-five different countries. Ghana remains her favorite country to visit as it reminds her the most of home.
