Katie
Litigation Paralegal
Hailing from Kingsport, TN, Katie studied Paralegal Studies at Thomas Nelson Community College and graduated with honors. She was also a part of Phi Theta Kappa and graduated with honors at VPCC, and earned an honors award for being involved in VPCC’s veterans program. She hopes to return to University to obtain a bachelor’s in pre-law or political science.

Katie has great passion for her faith, her career, and her family. She is the second youngest out of five children, two older brothers, an older sister, and a younger sister. Katie also has a nephew and niece that are her godchildren. Her hobbies iclude playing the violin, softball, basketball, and competitive archery. Every year around Thanksgiving, Katie volunteers with her family at Operation Christmas Child, a non-profit organization, where they pack and ship Christmas shoe boxes that contain necessities and toys for children in third-world countries. She grew up in a military family and has lived in four states throughout her childhood. Her fur baby is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Baxter.
