Paralegal (Spanish Speaking)
Milton came to the law firm as an intern in 2020 as a VCU student and he learned the ropes so quickly we decided to hire him on! This amazing young man was born and raised in Northern Virginia, but currently lives in downtown Richmond, Virginia. He grew up in a Hispanic household, with roots in Bolivia and Puerto Rico, he speaks fluent Spanish and English.
Milton primarily focuses his paralegal work with our traffic and criminal defense department, working with our fantastic intake team but he has joined a team with several other attorneys who can translate for Spanish-speaking clients.
Prior to joining our team, Milton worked as a CPR instructor and Lifeguard for the City of Manassas Park and the YMCA. He also is the president of the Alpha Beta Club of VCU which mentors students with Type 1 Diabetes. Additionally, he is a vocalist for the a capella ensemble, The Notochords of VCU.
“I love that I can use my Spanish to help provide an inclusive experience for clients whose first language is not English. I believe everyone deserves an equal opportunity for justice.”
Milton is still pursuing his undergraduate degree and is on the way to finishing his B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy. He plans on attending law school after undergrad and becoming a practicing attorney.
When he’s not busy studying, helping others, and genuinely being amazing, Milton loves to travel to warm, tropical locations, spending time with his family and singing.
PS. He has a Shichon named “Teddy”
